Community is at the heart of everything we do

  • We are a diverse and welcoming group of like-minded community members with a clear vision to develop and grow Leongatha as the heart of South Gippsland.
  • We welcome new members and fresh ideas and support friendships and collaboration within the Association and across the community.
  • We listen to and collaborate with a range of groups and organisations to understand what is needed and to deliver outstanding outcomes for our community.

  • We offer a diverse and strong network of businesses providing support and opportunities for each other.
  • We provide access to training opportunities, support services and networking opportunities with organisations such as the Victorian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (VCCI).
  • We organise combined marketing and promotions for the benefit of all local businesses and community groups

Advocating for a brighter future

  • Enhancing tourism opportunities and initiatives to attract more visitors to Leongatha ​
  • Providing adequate employment land for growth and employment outcomes. ​
  • Improving access and infrastructure with a focus on streetscape improvements in Bair Street, CBD Rail Trail access and Industrial Land expansion
  • Encourage Community-centric investments in Leongatha

Community based events and activities

  • Keeping alive the tradition of bringing people to Leongatha for the annual Daffodil Festival, celebrating over 60 years of community development showcasing the horticultural society’s endless efforts thus far.
  • Celebrating the rich history and culture of Leongatha and building on this for future generations.
